A reading of William Stafford's "A Message from the Wanderer"
Such a beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you liked it, Carri.
How'd you come across this poem? I hadn't heard it before and it's wonderful!
Andrew, I first read excerpts from the poem in Daniel Bowman, Jr.'s book On the Spectrum: Autism, Faith, and the Gifts of Neurodiversity. I ended up with a William Stafford collection after that, and the poem is in it. It's one I return to.
I’ve already shared it with some friends — so glad for all the poetry you bring to life with your readings!
This is such a lovely poem! Thank you for sharing it, Rebecca.
Isn't it?!
"All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well...."
Oh, perfect, Kellie.
